Paul Lodge is a unique mix of musician and professor of philosophy at Oxford University.

Informed by his lifelong engagement with philosophy and literature, Paul Lodge sings from the same place of mystery and wonder as Bob Dylan, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, and Joanna Newsom.

Paul’s music has been featured on BBC Radio Oxford Introducing and BBC Radio Cumbria.

He plays regularly in and around Oxford at venues such as The Old Fire Station, The Jericho Tavern, Port Mahon, Loose Cannon Taproom, Oxford Folk Club, Banbury Folk Club, and festivals such as Banbury Canal Festival, The Great Barn Festival, and Folk Weekend: Oxford.

In 2018 he was invited to perform for Hillary Rodham Clinton at Mansfield College, Oxford.

In 2022 he launched his album Preludes to Wordsworth in the poet’s home, Rydal Mount, at the invitation of his descendants.
